Sweet Flour – general terms and conditions of trade
Our contract with you, the customer:
All orders by you, the customer, for supply of goods are subject to these terms and conditions. Once an order has been placed your order is considered firm and there will be a contract between us. The contract will end upon satisfactory receipt of goods and final payment.
Payment:
The price for my products is payable as follows:
A deposit of 50% of the total cost (including delivery charge) upon your acceptance of our price.
Remaining balance to be paid upon goods being delivered.
If not payed in advance the rest of the balance can be paid at the moment of delivery/pick up.
Changes or addition of goods or services:
Following placement of order, should you wish to make any changes to an order, please contact me straight away. I will try my best to accommodate changes requested, however I’m unable to accept changes within the 3-day period before the order is due for collection or delivery. Desired changes to orders are fully subject to availability.
Depending on the change or addition requested, an additional charge may be applied and shall be payable in accordance with the terms of the payment clause.
Cancellation:
You may cancel an order at any time. Please be aware all deposits paid are non-refundable. This is because I pre-order ingredients and material in advance to begin order preparations. Cancellations incur administrative costs, lost business and impacts on my commitment to other customers.
Services can be terminated if you fail to pay on the due date given under the payment clause.
Refunds:
If you are not satisfied with your order please contact me. See also the complaint clause, I may offer a refund depending on the issue presented. Refunds cannot be requested for missed or failed delivery/collection.
Delivery/Pick up issues:
I cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries if we agreed on a date and time, let me know in advance if you have any problems and I will do my best to accomodate you.
Force majeure and liability:
If I’m prevented from performing my service and delivery by circumstances beyond my control, I will cancel the order and refund to you the full amount already paid and I will have no further liability to you.
Food allergies:
All my products may contain nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, gluten. Food allergy information is available on request but consider that in all the products there may be traces of the ingredients listed above because I don’t have separate workplace or storage.
I can accomodate orders with some intolerances, but please let me know in advance so I can prepare my workplace and ingredients accordingly.
I am not responsible for any incidents involving personal food allergies.
Complaints:
In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about your product, please inform me so that I may have the opportunity to resolve matters immediately. If any problem cannot be resolved at that time any claim you bring will be limited in value to the total cost of the product and in respect of which any complaint is made. Complaints will be considered if brought to my attention promptly upon receiving your order. Expectations are that complaints are to be made within 5 days of receiving your order.
Availability:
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to cancel or not accept your order in the event that:
I experience supply chain issues outside of my control resulting in insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
I am unable to deliver to your area and you are unable to collect.
Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
